Hurley flew into an expletive laced rant
then the AD threatened a media member that he’d ruin the guy’s life if he didn’t delete the video
NCAA is not taking this lightly
but don’t hold your breath - we’ve seen this movie before. After a 5-year investigation they will issue a 5-year ban to SEMO.

He is a tool. I would love to see them actually penalize him but you are probably right.
Here is Dan Hurley's expletive filled rant aimed at some Baylor personnel as Hurley was leaving the court after UConn lost, and Baylor was playing in the next game. Hurley yelled, "“I hope they don’t f*** you like they f***ed us, Baylor. I really hope they don’t”.
The vulgar tirade was caught on video by a reporter, who was then threatened by UConn’s Director of Men’s Basketball Communications Bobby Mullen that if he didn't delete the video he'd "ruin his life". - https://x.com/TheFieldOf68/status/1903883468645503041
As bad as it looked for a 2 time defending champion to act like a punk and a disrespectful coach, to threaten a reporters livelihood is beyond disgusting and should result in that guy's termination. I'm sure both guys will say they were caught up in the heat of the moment after their season ended but other than a "slap on the wrist" and maybe issuing an insincere apology nothing else will be done. The best thing to happen to them just happened.
Yeah, that coach is something else. On a side note, the twitter post says, 'I’m told the NCAA is considering a possible postseason ban and loss of scholarship spots. Local law enforcement is also investigating the matter, as making threats is illegal in North Carolina.'
Pretty sure threatening someone is illegal in every state. What kind of a douchebag the 'director of men's basketball communication' is to say something like that. What an exaggerated view of one's importance. Hopefully he's looking for new work after that. No excuse.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Agree, Tommy. As repugnant as Danny Hurley can be, I think the UConn Director of Men’s Basketball Communications Bobby Mullen is the one who more likely deserves to be disciplined for threatening a media person who did nothing wrong and only happened to catch the incident on video.

uh oh, I just got a message from UConn’ AD, threatening to ruin my life if we don’t take this thread down….
Danny Hurley is a punk and the only reason UCONN continues to keep him as coach is winning. They would fire his ass if he was not winning championships. He is a complete embarrassment to all the decent coaches of college basketball. I could add some more on here as being similar to him as far as they will do anything to win period . They pretty much have no morals.
btw
Bradley’s ex -AD Michael Cross is currently the Commissioner of the SoCon (Southern Conference)
Bradley just happens to be hosting the best team in the SoCon in about 5 hours.
Whattya wanna bet Mike Cross will be in the arena?
