    Any word on Darius?

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Coach Wardle said they plan on getting him looked at today (Sunday) in Peoria and hopefully will have an announcement Monday. Just hoping for the best for Darius.

Just want it to be not too serious. He’s played for us for so long- just want what is best for him.

Had Darius ever missed a game due to injury?

I gotta say we have been blessed more or less in the Wardle era to not have a ton of key injuries.

JaShon’s concussions were the one that sticks out as a major one in the past 5 seasons.

He missed a few games 2 years ago

and he missed his entire high school junior season with a knee injury but that caused Power-5 recruiting interest to drop off and led to Bradley getting him

Eddie Papis is the unsung hero of Bradley basketball. Guy has quietly made us one of the most durable programs in the nation.

Thankfully no serious damage to the knee.

That is usually an injury that doesn't require surgery, but it does usually require rest and a knee support to allow that ligament to heal.
I don't expect Darius to play in the next game.
I posted that yesterday in the game thread. It was apparent that his right lateral knee ligament was severely strained, and possibly torn with the inward flex of the right knee. At a minimum, that takes several weeks to heal properly. And if there is a tear or a fracture, even longer. I am not able to read the article, since it is subscription only. But the responses suggest there was not a tear or fracture.
I believe he'll recover 100%, and be able to pursue a pro career if that's what he wants.

On this topic, did people see this comment from a guy I was told was the pregame host:

I wonder how many people share this terrible opinion. He's a college basketball that has been here for 5 years. He wants to finish what he started.

The post by Casey Foreman was terrible. As an aside his pregame show is awful.

Darius came back and finished what he started along side his teammates , hope he heals fast and goes on to do great things.

Yes, sometimes it's best in some circumstances to wait a bit before posting thoughts.

I've never heard it, but based on that comment I'm not surprised.
