Here is hoping he decides to transfer to BU. Of course nothing is official until you hear it straight from him. What a get that would be. I can see Wardle doing backflips and sommersaults in his office.

Had to chuckle at myself for my spelling. We all know what a tremendous get this would be. Wardle and staff am sure would be thrilled if this were to happen.
Him entering with the do not contact sign is interesting to me. That usually means they know where they are going. It would be hard to imagine that place would be somewhere other than Bradley. Otherwise, why enter with no contact? Test the market and see what you could get. Still, I'm not getting my hopes too high.

Interesting logic.
Only a small number of the >1200 players in the portal so far have "Do Not Contact" tags.
They included players like Tucker DeVries and Bennett Stirtz. What did they have in common?
They followed there coach's ( father) to Indiana &Iowa! Will Lathan follow in his Father's Footsteps? I believe the BU Collective will pay him close to Market Value! The collective is not poor I believe. May not have Millions, but I can see hundreds of thousands! Plus they will ask him for a little home town discount. Maybe I'm dreaming this all up. I guess with Patience, will see if we end up having a strong nucleus of Hometown Peoria players for the 2025-26 season!

They're both horrible human beings that we hate with a passion?

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
Come Home…. Be a Legend. Continue and build on your family’s legacy in Peoria and at Bradley.
There plenty of $$ to be made at BU… and in the future when u are older the mark you leave here at BU and in Peoria, and your memories will out out weigh the benefits of bouncing around schools as a mercenary. There is plenty of of time for that kind of thing once u play as a pro someplace.
Now is ur chance to play where your heart is, where your family is. What an amazing opportunity that is.. to be able to play college ball in your hometown and also where you have a family history.
I hope he comes here but rumor on Rutgers boards is he is chasing a bag and with all the big schools after him would be shocked if he comes here to play. Hope I am wrong
Yeah, my interpretation of "Do Not Contact" was wrong. I figured that meant no contact, and he knew where he was going. Turns out, since he hired an agent, it just means "talk to my agent not me" in an attempt to maximize earnings. From what I know, there's still a chance but I feel a lot less optimistic than I did this time yesterday.
Of course everyone is hopefully optimistic that Lathan will transfer to BU. Hope Da Coach knows something we do not by his post a couple days ago where he states he is hearing things but not able to post yet about a certain team in the Midwest with school colors of Red and White are in play. Hope he is right, but just have to stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed.
