Thomas and Meta both played pretty well in one game, hey hey! Especially Thomas of course, but Meta looks quicker and more decisive offensively than ever if he can stop fouling.

I mentioned Zek’s lack of focus at times on both ends throughout the year, and I actually think his absence the last couple of games has actually lessened our lulls. When we have a lull in one end we seem to pick it up on the other end. And this was against an elite defensive team. Davis was great too!

We now have a home game to get to the final four of the NIT. As disappointing as not making the tournament was this year, that’d be a nice consolation prize at least.

I hope Hannah is ok. Would be a terrible way to end your college career

The only bad news is that the video replay of Darius Hannah's injury appeared to show a rather severe strain of his right knee lateral ligament as his knee flexed inward. That is usually an injury that doesn't require surgery, but it does usually require rest and a knee support to allow that ligament to heal.
I don't expect Darius to play in the next game.

Corey Thomas came up huge. A career-high 21 points and 11 rebounds. He was 7-10, and 3-5 from three. And, he was shorted at least one more rebound when they credited a late rebound to Duke Deen that Corey rebounded and threw to Duke.
Christian Davis, who has played unselfishly all year, and could have been a bigger scorer, was terrific today. He tied his career-high of 21 points. He was 7-11 and 5-8 from three, including that miracle shot he got off late as the shot clock was running out. He also had 4 rebounds and 2 steals, and played 37 minutes. CD was terrific.

Bradley will play Chattanooga either Tuesday or Wednesday in the quarterfinal round.
If the NIT doesn't announce the date and time this afternoon, then they might not make the announcement until after the 6 games Sunday.

Great win. Hannah should have gone with his gut and not played as this is exactly what he was trying to avoid. Just really sad for him.

I hope they play Tuesday because Wednesday I can't make the game. If they win I will go to the final four, but without Hannah their chances are not as promising going forward. I hope you heal quickly with no permanent effects Mr. Hannah.

That may be as proud as I've been of a Bradley team, and I've been proud of a lot of them! Short-handed against a quality team on the road. I think GM had only lost one home game this season. Gutty performance. I hope Peoria rewards these scrappy Braves with a good, appreciative crowd on Tuesday. Let's cheer them on to Indy!

And for those keeping track, that was a Quad 1 win.

Truly an outstanding win. I’m proud to be a Bradley fan. When Hannah went down, I thought the game would go one of two ways: fold or fight. Our boys answered the bell and swung until the heavyweight was on the mat.
                Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

Great win and showing by our guys! Hannah, you are a warrior and we are so proud of all you did as a Brave! I’ll be praying for your quick and complete recovery.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I was in the crowd. I feel awful for Darius. Corey played by far his best game and CD is just so good.

One of Bradley's greatest upsets in NIT History! I didn't expect this! They surprised me on the road as a fairly big underdog! This has to help our recruiting effort also! Potential future recruits pay attention to post season success!!!! Let's get Cooper Koch to the game Tuesday! Lathan Sommerville are U around? I want so Badly for Bradley to make the NIT final 4 so I can see them play at Historic Hinkle Fieldhouse! I was there earlier in the season for a Butler Connecticut Game and the exciting environment is as good as any in College Basketball! GO BRAVES!

Great job by the Braves today.
Put together 2 strong halves and Burch, Meta, and CT came up big! Great defense and rebounding all game.
Before today I had felt the season was short of the goal, but a super season no matter how we finish. What a great road team BU has been this season since Valley play started!

Wow! Was hopeful coming into this game but not expecting to pull off the road win against a really good George Mason team which had lost only 1 home game this season. Corey played great today on both ends of the court and makes me wonder what the reason was for him not playing more lately. Atlason didn’t see the floor and makes me wonder if he has finally worked himself out of the lineup. IMO if he isn’t hitting 3’s there’s no reason to play him because he is such a liability on defense. Hopefully now a win on Tuesday and head to Indy…

Playing is always the right answer no matter the outcome. That's why anyone is here in the first place.

And without Hannah in Gm 1 of the tourney, not sure we’d still be alive right now.
With an injury as ugly as that, I doubt we see DH suit up again, but miracles do happen.

Well I doubt he’ll play any more this season,
an early report says just a strain not a tear - so hopefully rest & rehab can yield a great recovery.
Next man up - Go Braves!
