  • Campus visitors this weekend

I don't know of any visitors to Bradley this weekend. Has anyone heard? Maybe Stan Simpson?

Here is something that could work in Bradley's favor with 6'9" forward Stan Simpson-- He visited Arkansas last weekend and reportedly liked what he saw.

However, also visiting Arkansas last wekend was possibly the top junior college power forward in the country, Keith Ramsey. Hoopmasters now reports that Ramsey has narrowed his choices to 2-- Missouri and Arkansas--

And now this weekend, a 4-star high school power forward, Terrance Henry, is visiting Arkansas. It seems Simpson may not be the Razorback's top big man priority.--

Maybe it is .50 cent hot dog day at their home football game versus Syracuse, I can not think of any other reason why anyone would want to spend time in Oxford Ohio.

Hey now. Oxford is a really nice place. It is a beautiful campus even if the people that go there think they are better than everyone else. I know this as a lot of people I graduated high school with went there, the main reason i did not go there and chose Bradley instead.

Oxford, Ohio had the BEST radio station for years. The original programming style still lives online (after the owners retired and sold the station) at http://woxy.lala.com/

Maybe some may recall the movie with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman in the movie Rainman... a scene where Hoffman kept saying "BAM - The Future of Rock in Roll" which was their 'signature phrase.

The St. Louis Scout site, BillikinReport.com, is reporting that 4 of the 5 kids from the class of 2008 who have committed to St. Louis University are visiting the campus for official visits this weekend. This article is a premium article--

            It says--
Four of the five high school seniors who have already committed to the Billikens will be on campus this weekend.
Brett Thompson, Kwamain Mitchell, Brian Conklin and Femi John are all making official visits to SLU this weekend.
The only player of the five prospects who have already pledged to sign with Rick Majerus who was not making an official visit this weekend is power forward Willie Reed.

However, they had expected former BU recruit from Evansville Reitz Memorial HS, Kyle Kuric to visit this weekend. However, he cancelled his scheduled visit and announced he is no longer considering SLU.

and that he will announce his decision on Sunday. He was already down to Illinois, Kansas, and Kansas State. The buzz among some on the premium boards is that he has chosen Kansas as he was promised he could have Brandon Rush's starting spot in 2008.

Yet another hit for Bruce Weber.......
