Anyone know if the CIT is still a thing, and if so, is there a bracket or schedule out? This is the one BU was the runner up for in 2009.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

No. Here is a pretty good summary - CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament - Wikipedia

The tournament was first contested in 2009. In 2012, it expanded to 32 participating teams, but contracted to 26 teams for the 2016, 2017, and 2019 editions, and 20 teams in 2018. The tournament was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, the tournament was re-launched and rebranded as The Basketball Classic. While neither The Basketball Classic nor the CIT were contested in 2023, CollegeInsider.com announced in early March that the CIT will be revived in a 16-team pod-based format for the 2023–24 postseason.[2] Ultimately, only nine teams agreed to play in the 2024 edition.[3]

The CollegeInsider.com website still exists and they have a lot of mid-major content, and sponsor a number of mid-major awards, but they have removed all reference to the tournament they once held. So presumably, it is now defunct. - Collegeinsider | Collegeinsider

Out of curiosity, I checked the site just the other day and it hasn't been updated since last year; no mention of any tournament this year.
My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. My dad took me to watch the Braves defeat Arizona 67-59. He helped me get Coach Orsborn's autograph before the game.

I saw that listed on ESPN, but the games it showed were the play-in games. Is that what they call the play-in games for the NCAA? Didn’t make sense to me, so wondered if that was a mistake.
