A-10 off to a roaring start, 0-2, both games are massive blowout losses -
Saint Louis (loses to Arkansas State 103-78 ) gets a decent game from Robbie Avila, but they musta forgot to play defense,
giving up 103 pts on 54% shooting and 46% from 3-pt. (16-35!)
another ex-MVC team, Wichita State, also getting their butts kicked by a sub-.500, 15-17 OK State team.
Leave the MVC, failure is in your future.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
Jacksonville State of the CUSA has a NET 122.
They are in the NIT because they finished tied for 2nd in the CUSA
Last night they easily beat ACC member Georgia Tech on Georgia Tech's home court 81-64
Notice that by the end of the game, nearly every Georgia Tech fan had already left the arena, and the almost all the few remaining spectators were just the Jacksonville State fans. - https://x.com/_ThomasAshworth/status...62516886671706
So this is a good example of why schools like Georgia Tech and others from the ACC, SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, and Big East refuse to play mid-majors, and why they will never choose to play them at home.
This year's NIT has only 4 teams out of 32 that are from the Power Conferences- SMU, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech and Stanford. the fewest in history.
These are the schools that reportedly declined an invitation to play in the NIT (many schools declined before the invitations even went out).
30 of the 36 (and there may have been others) were from the Power Conferences. They don't want to have to face mid-majors and risk losing. Florida State- ACC Wake Forest-ACC Pittsburgh- ACC
Cal- ACC
Stanford- ACC
Syracuse- ACC
Notre Dame- ACC
Virginia- ACC
NC State- ACC Indiana- Big Ten
Maryland- Big Ten Northwestern Big Ten Rutgers- Big Ten
Ohio State- Big Ten

Memphis- American UNLV- Mountain West Nevada- Mountain West
St. Bonaventure- A-10
Oregon State- West Coast
Washington State- West Coast
George Mason clobbering Samford 45-24 at halftime. If Bradley wins, they'll have to travel to GMU if they win. If Samford can come back and win, BU could get another home game.
Northern Iowa loses to SMU 73-63 and is eliminated.
The good news for UNI is that Coach Ben Jacobson has said that 11 of the UNI players have said they will return next year. - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...50319/group/98
Fyi
the Loyola NIT game vs San Francisco STARTS AT 6:30pm Central on ESPN2 and ESPN+
the Illini are on CBS but getting thumped by UK, with a lot of turnovers
and the ISU game in the CBI vs Presbyterian starts at 7pm but ONLY on FloHoops subscription streaming service so nobody will be watching- it’s a terrible deal.
$20 minimum (monthly) or $108/yr
