I agree NC! Looking at the teams, I would think they'll walk all over that competition!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Kinziger and Walker should both go for 30 points each game.

Haha! It wouldn’t surprise me! Let’s hope all the MVC teams have a good showing in post season! It’ll be the only time I ever root for those jabronies!

If anyone couldn't tell, my comment was slight hyperbole.

The 11-team CBI begins today (Sun. 3/23) with 4 games, and 3 more tomorrow - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...50323/group/55
Originally when announced, they had 12 teams (see bracket in top post), but apparently, UC Riverside dropped out, and now the bracket only shows 11 teams. - https://collegebasketballinvitationa...Bracket-TV.pdf

Here are the records and KenPom rank for each team-
              # 140 Illinois State (19-14)
              # 168 Cleveland St (21-12)
              # 173 FGCU (18-14)
              # 179 Jacksonville (19-13)
              # 199 Elon (17-15)
              # 204 Queens (19-14)
              # 230 Presbyterian (14-18 )
              # 237 Manhattan (17-13)
              # 247 Northern Arizona (18-15)
              # 248 Incarnate Word (17-16)
              # 325 Army (16-15)

Illinois State leads Presbyterian at halftime- 33-30 - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId/401756997

Presbyterian is 14-18 overall, 11-18 against D1 opponents, and they were 7-9 in the Big South, tied for 5th place. They have an NET rank of 240, an RPI of 264, a non-conference RPI of 324, and zero wins against Quad 1 or Quad 2.! They were 5-5 against Quad 3, and a horrendous 6-10 against Quad 4!
That has to be the worst resume' ever for a team that got a post-season invite to any tournament.

Coach did you look at the field for the CBC buy-in tournament in Vegas? That tournament might challenge the NIT soon. Especially as NIL/portal and NCAA selection criteria force non PC teams into desperate circumstances.

Yes. The CBC (College Basketball Crown) has 16 teams, 5 of them have losing records, and another one is .500. Only 1 team has more than 20 wins (Boise State, 24-10, who turned down an NIT bid for this tournament). They have some really awful teams, like DePaul (14-19), Colorado (14-20), and Butler (14-19).
It's sponsored by Fox Sports, so all the games are on Fox or FS1, and they claim to give some of the media revenue back to the players as NIL.

Chase Walker went for 20 pts, 9 reb
How in the world does Presbyterian get into any post-season tournament? They now are 14-19! They finished 6th in a 9-team Big South conference at 7-9.

Thanks. I gotta stop trying to watch 4 games at once. Confusing.
