Watching tonight’s games and notice that one of Bradley’s ex players Jeremy Fears Sr has 2 sons both playing tonight. Jeremy Fears Jr for Michigan State and Jeremiah Fears for Oklahoma. Both very nice players!

Drake plays Texas Tech at 5:10 tomorrow and Tech is a 6 1/2 point favorite. Tech regularly plays 9-10 guys a game and tries to wear you down. JT Toppin leads the Red Raiders with 17.9 points and 9.2 rebounds. Once again if Drake can do Drake things they will be right there.

Illinois took control early in the 2nd half and ended up beating Xavier 86-73. Will Riley had himself a game as he had 22 points on 8-12 shooting as did Kasparas Jackucionis who almost had a triple double as he had 16 points, 9 rebounds and ten assists. Illinois was also a perfect 18-18 from the FT line, the 4th best total ever in a NCAA tournament game. They move on to face Kentucky on Sunday.

Really hope Drake can get by Texas Tech who had a hard time getting by UNC Wilmington. I’ve always liked Drake from the days of watching Lewis Lloyd drop 30 on us in the fieldhouse.

Drake loses 77-64 to Texas Tech.

They didn't look like the same Drake team. Texas Tech had a lot to do with it, but Drake gave up a lot of easy inside baskets. And they got nothing from Mascari or Manyawu.
