  • NCAA clarifies the recent Juco eligibility ruling

They now say if your only year of juco was 2020-21, which was already ruled as not counting against eligibility limits (Covid year), then you do not get the extra year via the recent Juco ruling.

Thus, Duke Deen cannot return in 2025-26

Dave Eminian article- Duke Deen is disappointed that he will not have another year of eligibility after all- https://www.pjstar.com/story/sports/...y/82379434007/

One comment from Dave is this-
Deen reached 1,000 points this season in only three years with Bradley, which hadn't been done since 1986.

Unless I am misunderstanding, that is not true.
There have been multiple other players since 1986 who reached 1000 points for Bradley in 3 seasons or less.

And Curtis Stuckey scored 1,248 points with Bradley in just 2 seasons (1989-90 & 1990-91).

It looks like Dave was writing about assists, not points:

“Deen reached 1,000 points this season in only three years with Bradley. He is among the top 12 in assists all-time in BU history -- and the first player to reach that milestone in just three seasons since Jim Les did it in 1986.“

Thanks. That makes more sense. Dave usually does his research, and knows what he is talking about.
