My insights were before the news on Duke not having an additional year of eligibility... Perhaps that news, changes his mind.... Hopefully!

With the others, it could be possible if Duke plays, they play... yet that was the understanding at that time (2-days ago). Nothing was official, yet from a reliable source. I try to vet out facts before posting.

I'd like to know where the rumor originated that "the top 3-NIL paid players will not participate in NiT".
For what it's worth, I have not heard that.

and I personally doubt anyone who starts such rumors actually has any knowledge of who the "top 3 NIL paid players" are

I haven"t heard anything about that yet but I wish the players would at least let everyone know whether or not they plan on playing. Coach needs at least to tell the fans who is practicing because that would be important info for us fans.

Obviously by his own comments Duke was excited to have another year when we thought that was the rule, I wonder if he intended to return to Bradley with that extra year or go elsewhere.

Like many fans, I entered from the entrance across from the Jefferson St. parking deck, and never went through the main lobby.
              Lobby by the ticket windows.

Probably the same source that said CD wouldn’t play the second game of the tournament because of his foot. Oh wait,,,,

CD and Duke are in. Darius and Zek are not. That is what I hear.

I think the staff should come forward and announce if players are choosing not to play on the NIT. There are people that might want to know whether or not to buy tickets for this event if players refuse to play in this Tour.

One of the few people who do NIT Bracketology - https://x.com/thebarkingcrow/status/1900921712922816588

I don't know what Barking Crow's history is with accuracy, but I think pegging Bradley as a #3 seed in the NIT seems pretty accurate.
The NIT and NCAA have said they do their selections, seedings, and match-ups the same way they do it for the NCAA Tournament, meaning do not set match-ups to favor teams who draw better or have larger arenas. However, I believe that they do pair teams that result in a minimum of travel and expenses. So Loyola would seem like a good possibility. I hope it's not Loyola, since we played them in the first round last year.

I would Prefer not to see Loyola again. Penn State would be fun from the big 10! Bottom line for me is why would I go to a game if some of our seniors are opting out! I want to see the best product Bradley can put on the floor. It's a shame because Noone opted out last year that I recall. Its to bad because the NIT is postseason ! The NIT has a rich History and Bradley is a big part with 4 NIT titles! I'll now assume other players from teams will also opt out! It's a different time we're in now and that's sad for such a historic tournament.

Agree, they should look at that and pick another team to come in and play.
