From Dave Eminian of the PJ Star- The 26-8 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament runner-up will play in the National Invitation Tournament, accepting an automatic bid under the tournament's new rules.
"Everybody can be calm now," Bradley coach Brian Wardle said Wednesday, laughing. "We're going to play in the NIT. We always were. We're excited for the competition. We're getting back to work tomorrow."
Happy Bradley decides to play in the NIT! I was at last year's NIT victory over Loyola! I would love to see them get to Indianapolis to play at Butlers Hinkle Fieldhouse! I've seen Connecticut play their and it was thrilling! I will go if BU makes it! I saw possible first round matches and only Iowa Intrigues me because they play in a very high big ten conference! Even if I don't go to peoria, I will listen on the Radio! Go Braves!!!!
Will be interesting to see who, if anyone, sits out.
It would be odd if anyone did. I think it's ALL 4 seniors or none of them...and I'm betting it's the former seeing as it's such a tight-knit group across the roster.
The 2 guys I am PRAYING stay next season are Demarion and Ja'Quan...and God forbid if they did transfer, hopefully they would wait until after the season officially ends.
Does anybody know when they will start selling tickets for the NIT game coming up. Or is BU waiting to find out the date, time, and opponent.
Hey Dave, seeds are announced on the 16th, so tickets should go on sale shortly after that. You can buy tickets for the semis and finals now, but not sure who would do that before seeing the brackets!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Yes, tickets will go on sale shortly after the announcements of the teams and match-ups on Sunday night. Bradley usually gives season ticket holders first priority for the first day, then open sales after that.

Do you recall if season ticket holders have the option of purchasing our same seats?

Tommy - if by some miracle we get a 2nd round home game on Sat or Sun, Jaylon and I may be making the trek to Peoria to watch!
