According to PJstar.com, WEEK will not broadcast any BU basketball games this year as they say the production costs are too high to continue covering Bradley Basketball.

Jeez that's surprising to me. Whoever picks it up can we get them to use Snell as their guy? (I dunno, I suppose you have to talk too much for radio play by play)

That's really crazy. How could the local BU games NOT be televised at least? There's got to be lots of fans in the community who aren't able to make it to the game for whatever reason (money, home commitments, etc.).
Could it also hurt recruiting a little? I mean I know recruits would rather be on ESPN, but at least, you can say hey, I'm on TV!

It is sad Peoria doesn't have a tv station pro BU to watch the games.
Kinda funny... BU has had some less successful teams over the years... but those were on tv. Now, on the heels of some success and the quiet anxiety of another really good year... sorry, can't cover the games on tv anymore. Guess there are 8-10000 fans who go to the games and want to see them win. The rest like to sit home and watch them on tv and hope they lose. Now that it seems they may not lose as often, who's gonna be at home watching?
Bye bye WEEK - you ain't gonna be missed. Just Bradley basketball is missed.

Yeah, given some more time to reflect on this, it does really kind of make me mad.
