The idea that a recruit would be influnced by one schools recent record against another seems off base to me, I dont think its a factor at all.

If everything else is equal (facilities, location, academics, etc.) and school number 1 consistently beats school number 2, I would think that most recruits would choose school number 1. They would want to play for the better team.

At least he showed a lot of class by not coming here and wasting his time and coach Les"s by making his decision as we can now spend it on other recruits; we could sure use some good news about a verbal from a new recruit as we have been in on several good ones only to lose out to a bigger school; I still think if we had the new facility now that it would have helped as it is hard to look at pictures of it without actually being in it.

I also believe the new facilty being built will help JL with his recruiting efforts. We can't change our location but we can change the perception. I wonder what Gonzaga's facilities are like. Stockton is in the middle of no where (albiet close to some great mountain ranges in Idaho), their league is below ours but they seem to find some pretty good recruits year in and year out. What is their formula for success? As I said before a new state of the art facility with an upgrade in non-conference schedule (TV time) will be our our formula to get to the next level.
