Bradley leads the MVC in home attendance by far - averaging 5,815/game.... an increase over last year for the third consecutive season. It also marks the SIXTH time in the Wardle era that there's been an increase - noting that for obvious reasons - everyone had no fans in the Covid year and then had a significant decline the following year as well.

We have a big home game Sunday and I'd expect and hope for a very large crowd- possibly in the same range or higher than the Murray State game
    ... (hopefully ~8000).
If so, we'll end the season with an average of around 5950, possibly making it the highest attendance average of the Brian Wardle era.

While our attendance is UP significantly since pre-Covid, almost every other team in the MVC is down from then...and even the
teams that left for "greener pastures" are way down. Loyola, even in the midst of a fairly good season, are down 30-40% from their
pre-Covid numbers. Wichita State had 10,500 sellouts for years but are now drawing just 5900.
I am stunned at Belmont drawing just 1707 per game - with such a long, solid basketball history and having a very good year!
Even Drake - in a historically strong year is drawing just 3906 per game - up only slightly from their recent & their pre-Covid seasons..

Kudos to the great Braves fanbase!! But let's all come out Sunday for huge crowd!

Plus I've noticed the fans have traveled well and supported the team on the road in league play a little more than in recent years...reminds me of Wichita St. fans in mid to late 2000s.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
