It's a shame that Drake exceeded expectations and won the title. I really thought a 15-5 record would have been enough to win the reg. season, but the league was better than most everyone thought. We saw that when we hit a skid halfway thru and lost 3 straight. If the Braves finish with a win vs UNI, it really was impressive to finish at 15-5 considering the strength of the league, which IMO was more than when BU went 16-4 in 2022-'23 to win the title. Wonder when was the last time that our road record was better than our home record in MVC play?

My wife and I had a blast at the Valpo Game! It certainly helped that Bradley won! My wife said it was her favorite game because we could sit so close to the action and she could see the game clearly! I loved the intimacy of there small gym and told the players beforehand how special I felt it was to play at Valpo! While Bradley was pre-game practicing, I was able to quickly chat with a few of the players. When I told Duke Deen how special I thought the environment was for the game, he gave me a big smile!!!! I hope I have other opportunities to see college Basketball in small size gyms!!!!!GO BRAVES! NICE WIN!
