We get the very worse refs for the night. Those guys obviously don"t know the rules of verticality. They also blew the whistle so much because they cannot keep up. Just happy for the win.

A W is a W especially after 3 straight losses but man the difference between how we played in each half was stunning. Shot 52% in the first half, shot 43% in the 2nd half. From 3 we were 5-11 in the first half, 6-16 in the 2nd half. In the 1st half we were 12-15 from the FT line, 7-12 in the 2nd half. Our ball movement was really good in the first half, n ot so good in the 2nd half until the last 2-3:00. Defensively we played better than we have but when the refs decide to dictate how the game is to be played it's tough. Credit to Evansville for taking advantage of it we withstood the barage of fouls, showed our poise and came through. Way to go boys!

I guess we should be happy with the win. Hopefully this helps their confidence. The discrepancy in rebounding didn’t look good, especially considering they had 12 second chance points.

Nice win boys! Last 7 minutes was rough, but our vets made some clutch plays to keep the distance.
About 4 or 5 threes went in and out in the last 10 minutes. Love the confidence in our shooting. Corey Thomas has regressed.

Burch played very well in 1st half and was as big in giving the Braves a nice halftime lead.

Nobody played spectacular, but almost all played well…enough to win.

Let’s get Win #20 and keep getting that swagger back!

This one doesn't feel great giving away that many points in the 2nd half...

If you look only at the stats, Bradley appears to have had a great game. BU shot 47.2% overall (25-53), 40.7% from three (11-27), and 70.4% on FTs (19-27), and only had a total of 8 turnovers for the game (lowest turnover total of any MVC game). And, they had 17 assists on 25 field goals.
So why was it so close at the end? Bradley was outrebounded 45-28 (14-2 on offensive rebounds) by the worst rebounding team in the MVC. And despite playing a zone more tonight than in any other game this season, they were called for 28 personal fouls that lead to 31 (23-31 made by UE) free throw attempts.

But it's nice to head home with a win. And with a 3-game lead over the 5th place teams with 6 games left, Bradley is in good shape for a bye on Thursday (3/6).

                Official box score- https://bradleybraves.com/sports/men...boxscore/22360

Despite a lot of empty seats visible on the TV broadcast, the announced attendance was 5,810.
That is their largest home attendance of the season.

First half was called close but was at least fair. However in the second half the refs tried their hardest to give this game to Evansville. Got out of there with a win is all that matters.

Right now after reassessing our team, I’d feel good about grabbing the #2 seed and playing solid down the stretch of the season. I expect us to win at least 4 more before Arch Madness and win out at home.

Drake now hits arguably the toughest 4-game stretch they have this season, after barely surviving Indiana State in overtime -

Yeah, several times I rewound to try to see the foul, and the Bradley player was positioned, feet planted, arms straight up, when the offensive player dribbled by and bumped him. Impossible to player defense when that’s a foul.

Will take the win even though we continue to need to work on our rebounding. Granted the refs had something to do with that having our players with three and four fouls on certain players preventing them from not wanting to pick up more fouls and foul out. But to be out rebounded by that margin shows we need to work more on that part of our game. Drake has the toughest four game stretch coming up, and maybe they will trip up and lose maybe one or two. We have to go to Drake and ISU Red. Not easy games by any means. If we do not win the conference then play our best heading to St. Louis and hope we can win the tournament. "LET'S GO BRAVES"

I did not get a chance to see the game. I had already planned to go see Matt Zobrist play thinking I could re-watch the game later. Then I realized it was on a channel I cant get..UGH!!! Anyway Matt Zobrist is ready to play at Bradley. He has somethings to clean up but he is very smooth and court savvy. I think he will play alot next season

I went to watch Zobrist as well. Very impressed with his vision of the court, and his passing. And, obviously, he's a shooter. He needs to improve his dribbling. He had at least three turnovers while dribbling, and a guard like Bully will eat him up. But excited he's coming to Bradley next year!

I like Post Game interviews with a basketball coach making statements of what they really think. Coach Wardle
did just that in post game last night.
I am so bored with a losing coach giving obligatory lengthy praise to the opposing team. Power 5 conference
                                owns this style.
