UIC, which averages over 80 points per game, managed only 22 points in the first half.
They shot 29% overall, and just 8.3% from three (1-12).
SIU's leading scorer, Ali Dibba, was scoreless.
Since beating Bradley by 23 points in Peoria 10 days ago, UIC has lost back-to-back home games to mediocre teams (INSU & ILSU), and now getting blasted by SIU. -

ILSU lead nearly the entire game and by as much as 14 points, but UNI closed the gap in the final couple minutes and took the lead with 1:05 left.
UNI is now 9-4. Illinois State is 7-6.
