As noted in another thread, UNI has lost 2 starters this season to injury. Sophomore starting point guard R.J. Taylor suffered an Achilles tendon tear in their 8th game of the season, and will redshirt. And starting guard Leon Bond III, a redshirt sophomore transfer from Virginia, suffered a partial tear of his patellar tendon in their game last Saturday at Indiana State and is not expected to return this season.
They are lead in scoring and rebounding by 6'6" G/F Tytan Anderson (14.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg).
Other starters include: 6'4" junior guard Trey Campbell (10.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg), and a pair of transfers from Loyola- 6'11" senior center Jacob Hutson (11.7 ppg, 3.9 rpg), a former Bradley recruit, and 6'8" redshirt-junior forward Ben Schweiger (9.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg)

Their last game was Wednesday, Jan. 29, a 52-66 loss at Drake. In that game, 6'4" junior transfer Max Weisbrod, started in place of Bond. In 27 minutes of playing time, he had 7 points (3-7 overall, and 1-5 from three). He is a transfer from Northern Michigan University, where he averaged 17.2 ppg and was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

I can only imagine what practices were like after the UIC game. Wardle said no day off after the game as is usually the norm. Do not have the privy to attend and watch practice. Hope the coaching staff told the team in no way was that performance acceptable and let them know they will be held to account. Let's hope for Bradley to return to form and win this game. The conference title is still there for the taking. Just have to play up to par and go get it.
