I would LOVE to see at least 8K for this game. We are traveling 3.5 hrs to see the Braves get the W.
We'll be going to Avanti's after the game, so if you see a guy in a Braves RED script jerseyand a good-lookin' 11-yr-old there, would love to meet some of you fellow Braves fans!

Get your tickets for the ISU game. Just got some extra tickets for my granddaughters. Even the upper bowl seating is going fast. Cold weather will be behind us as temperature will be around 40 at game time. Let's have the biggest crowd of the year to cheer our Braves on to a win."GO BRAVES"

Off Topic - but here's a TRIVIA QUESTION

see if you can guess without Googling...

Who is the ONLY Division I Head Basketball Coach who is also their school's ATHLETIC DIRECTOR?
(virtually everyone on this board will instantly recognize and be familiar with the name)
(HINT, his team, altho not known as a powerhouse, is 4-1 in their conference so far this season, their best start in any seasons since 2017.)

Don’t look for Avanti’s on Main St. It closed during Covid. You can go to Avanti’s at East Peoria, Pekin, off Sterling near Glen on Rockwood Dr, or on North Knoxville. There is also an Avanti’s concession area in the Civic Center with a limited menu.

Agree with you about the attendance for the game on Saturday LB. Hopefully it will better than what you stated. We have had some nice crowds but I’m kinda disappointed considering how good our record is at 16-3. Anyone know how far back we have to go starting this well?

Bradley should be discounting all remaining available tickets, offering 4-packs, etc. now if they want a sellout by Saturday. Maybe it is a targeted effort but I have not seen anything on ticket discounts.

So you want them to discount the tickets that they have been selling for extra $$$? That seems like a really bad long term plan.

It is better in the long run to sell out games then have 3.000 open seats. This is how you get new fans into the building.

If there are fans who wanted to buy tickets, but were discouraged that there are no lower bowl seats showing as available on the Ticketmaster site, there are other possible options.
A bunch of tickets in section 112 (lower bowl behind the visitors bench) were given to ISU as all teams do for visiting teams.
I have heard that ISU might still have lower bowl or upper bowl seats available for sale. I have not tried, but it might be worth calling the ISU ticket office and asking if they have any of their tickets available for the game Saturday. Their ticket office is open from 9 am to 5 pm, and phone number is 309-438-8000.

One other good option is the secondary ticket sellers like Seatgeek.com, Stubhub.com, or Vividseats.com. Prices might be higher, but there are good seats available. Those websites are very reliable.-

Seatgeek.com has tickets available in the lower bowl- https://seatgeek.com/bradley-braves-...-1-pm/17123489

                    So does Vividseats.com- https://www.vividseats.com/bradley-b...uction/5257420

                    And, Stubhub.com- https://www.stubhub.com/bradley-brav...ent/155446190/

Yes, I keep track of this pretty well BU3342

It's our best record (16-3 vs D-1 opponents) since the 1985-'86 season, Hawk's soph season, when the Braves went 32-3 overall.
At this same point in the season, Bradley was CRUUUUUuuuusing at 18-1.

Comparing this year's current record vs the last time the Braves got an At-Large bid (2006 - The Sweet 16 Braves), they were at 13-8 after 21 games!
BU was 14-5 at the same point in the great 1995-'96 season (then went on a great run to end the conf. season)
BU was 15-4 in the 1987-'88 seasons (Hawk's Nat'L POY season) - then went on a spectacular run and only lost 1 more game - vs Auburn in the 1st round of the tourney.

I have not been a die-hard Braves fan like some of you since the mid 80s, but I have been for 30+ years now, and this is the best season so far that I've witnessed, though the '96 team was pretty dang tough (with similar depth as this season and dominant in MVC play).

The Braves' conf. championship season 2 yrs ago was really fun, but halfway thru the conf. season I was not feeling great about the team. Exactly 2 yrs ago, (Jan. 21st) BU fans were discouraged after a late home loss to BELMONT at home, and facing an uphill climb with a 6-4 conf. record. Fortunately, Coach Wardle, as he always does, had the team gelling from that point on and into February, and won the next 10 games to finish 16-4 in the MVC.

Let's keep the Mojo BU nation!

They have not sold these seats/tickets all season and likely the last time they were sold was Feb 2023 against Drake. When you only had 1 sellout over a 10 year period and have the opportunity to have 2 within a 2 year period, you push discounts a little harder to get fans into seats.

Thanks for the info LittleBrave! Remember that season well. Winning against UTEP on Thursday and losing to eventual champion Louisville on Saturday.

Thanks Molar! We found this out last year and went to the one across the river that u mentioned. It was good, but not as good as the one on Main IMO.

It's funny - Other than 1 BU-ISU game my father took me to in the 1985-'86 season, I didn't watch an NCAA game until the 1986 tourney. I was more rooting for DePaul that season. I had no clue how good Hersey was until the next season and then in 1988.

I became a full-fledged BU fan in the 1993-'94 season, watching a Braves game from my living room in Florida. They had a nice run through the mid '90s with Coach Mo. Lots of ups and downs since then, but very happy how far we've climbed back, starting with the Arch Madness Championship in 2019!
