After the Bradley game at UIC Saturday- gotta rush back to the hotel,
can’t wait for the huge matchup of 0-5 Missouri State at 0-5 SIU.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

That was a wonderful job by Tytan Anderson going the full length of the court for the game winning layup but my goodness that was just a piss poor job of defense by the Redbirds.

In the battle of the winless teams, Southern Illinois beat Missouri State 88-78 in overtime - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId/401722557

Both Missouri State and Southern Illinois came into the game with 0-5 MVC records. Now there is only one winless team, Missouri State, 0-6

Maybe Missouri State Coach Cuonzo Martin might want to revise his opinion about his team being picked 11th in the MVC Preseason Poll.
Back on October 24, he said, "If we have the 11th best team in the Missouri Valley Conference, then this will be the best season in Missouri Valley Conference history." - https://x.com/WyattWheeler_NL/status...3399200

Coaches seem to always over value their teams. I think they do it because if you come out before the start of the season and state this is going to be a bad season then your fans will not want to attend games.

The one thing I know is with that amount of time 4.4 seconds left and you have to go full court the ISU coach should have told his players that when the ball came inbounds you have to stop the ball period and make them at least pass it once.Thing is Pedon took two timeouts before to see how UNI setup their offense. I would always double team the player with the ball in the back court just so he has to get rid of it because time is not on their side.

Exactly, i think coaches get too caught up in telling their players not to foul instead of talking about how to defend at that time.
