  • Attendance

Bradley should have a nice turnout Saturday night. We don't get many Saturday night games, which seem to draw better than others days or times.
Bradley's attendance for the last home game against Valparaiso was 6,201, which was the highest attendance of the season, so far.

Bradley continues to lead the MVC in home attendance with an average of 5,265

Glad we don't have the attendance problem that Jacksonville University appears to have. - https://x.com/mid_madness/status/1874971199916359900

I don't know how some of these low mid-major schools stay viable e.g. NEC/SWAC/OVC etc. Revenue has to be a challenge when you're drawing 800 for a conference home game.

NIU has been drawing 800-1000 for years, now, and don't seem to be doing anything to improve attendance (such as improving the team). There were 1500 in attendance at their last game which was against a school from Chicago whose campus comprises three or four buildings, East-West University. A game against such a powerhouse nearly filled the NIU arena. HA!!
My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. My dad took me to watch the Braves defeat Arizona 67-59. He helped me get Coach Orsborn's autograph before the game.

Hopefully we get great crowds for the next 2 games. This team deserves it.With the terrible officiating the last 2 games and still being able to pull out wins in these games.Go Braves!

Bradley is comfortably in the #1 spot in attendance in the MVC, but our people ought NOT take that for granted.
People pay $hundreds of dollars for season tickets and many pay way more - even into the $thousands in required
maintenance and additional donations & support.

So my question is - WHO is it in the Bradley Athletic Department that is responsible for contacting the great, loyal Bradley fans,
season ticket holders and donors to thank them or to help answer questions or solve problems, ticketing issues, etc. - or just to make the fans feel appreciated.
Dr. Chris Reynolds does great but it really isn't his job. People like Ken Kavanagh, Rick Gaa, Craig Dahlquist, etc used to
"engage fans", plan events that appeal to the fans and make them feel like part of the team, but nobody does it now. We see many fans complaining that
nobody answers their calls or helps with problems or ticket issues. Just sayin'.... attendance is holding strong at around 5,000 but that's because
we're winning - but watch what happens if we have a down year - we're going to go back to the 3,000 range like we did with Joanne & Geno.
