The Redbirds never trailed in this game as they scored the first 5 points. They led by as much as 15 in the first half and led 33-25 at the half. Murray State slowly cut into the lead and with 3:00 to go was able to cut it to 1 but couldn't get any closer. In the last 2:40 ISU was 6-6 from the FT line and Johnny Kinzinger made 2 really tough inside shots to help the Redbirds hold on. Kinzinger, Caden Boser and Malachi Poindexter all had 17 for ISU.Comment
