      He is truly a legend. I miss the conversations I use to have with him when he was out in the public and in good health. He helped in getting my season tickets at the fieldhouse in 1969. He coached a lot of great players back in his time. Hoping he has a great birthday tomorrow.

        Yes, I can see you in the crowd (btw- anyone else recall sitting up there in the top row with your head butting up against the steel rafters? The other side of the arena with the scorers' & press tables is where the students sat, and those seats went up even
        higher into the rafters where some of the seats on the end where the arch of the rafters was headed downwards,
        you couldn't even stand up - you had to get into your seat by sitting and sliding down to the end of the bench seat.
        But we never complained - the seats were free and the games, as always, were great...Oscar, Joe Allen, Chet the Jet, Wes Unseld, Bird, Stallworth..)

          I was there in section l, row 10 seats one and two. The students showed up back in those days and the place was really loud and electric.
