From what I am reading, this seems like a good deal for UC Davis. The Big West, where they've played for the last 18 years, doesn't have football and generates very little revenue from other sports. UC Davis might encounter greater travel expenses, and will probably take a few years to become competitive in some of the Mountain West sports, but the media and other revenues will be significantly greater.Originally posted by Afreck2430 View Post

Btw, UC Davis is having a pretty good season in football. The are currently 11-2, and they finished 7-1 and a game behind 1st place Montana State in the Big Sky Conference.
