[QUOTE=houstonbrave;n523328]Santa Clara is currently a 3.5 point favorite.
Must be based on our performance at Washington St. We play our game I don't think we'll have trouble unless somethin wonky (refs) happens. DB II Pizza & More, across from the closed Big Lots on Sterling and was most recently called the Hungry Moose, also has the game on. Duke is dressed so I hope that means he's playing.

Tough loss.
Imo, Santa Clara is not a better team, but they played well, limited turnovers, and rebounded aggressively today. Combined with poor shooting in the first half by Bradley, that was the difference.
They were ranked 225th in D1 in 3 point FG% (32..6%), but shot 12-24 in today's game (50%) and 7-11 in the 2nd half (63.6%) to blunt the comeback effort by Bradley.
Coach Wardle mentioned on the post game that Darius and Almar had bad games and that the team needs more from them in big games like today's. He complimented Zek for playing well despite battling illness, and he mentioned Christian Davis, Duke, and Corey gave great effort today.

Another chance to pick up a big road win dashed. The guys need to figure out it's a 40 minute game. 3 guys scoring more then 20 points is very unacceptable as is getting outrebounded by 14. Darius and Almar were no shows. A 40 minute effort will be needed to beat a talented San Francisco team on Wednesday.

We were terribly sloppy in the first half. Darius was a total no-show. Corey continues to improve and his activity is a real asset. We had no answer for the seven footer. Duke is a fighter and put the team on his back in the second half. Need to get back at it Wednesday-San Francisco is better.houstonbrave

We looked like a team that hadn’t played in 2 weeks. Too many offensive rebounds allowed and an abysmal 1st half. 0-2 in PST! Let’s stay away from the west coast moving forward.Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
