BU also boasts the 20th best FT % in the country at 77.7, which I can't recall being such a good FT shooting team since I've been a fan.

Does anyone know typically what the leading 3-pt. % team in the country ends up with by season's end? 40% sounds rather low to me, but we're never near the top so I haven't paid att'n in past seasons (in 2007 we were great for at least the first half of the season in that 4-guard offense with Tuai, Ruff, Franklin, Adams, and a young gun named Drew Warren )
The stats after last night's game have been updated and actually show Bradley back at the # 1 spot in 3-point percentage at 40.7%. Memphis is # 2 at 40.3% - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...alPct/dir/desc

That ESPN stats page can be reset for any season back to 2002-03 by clicking on the date button at the top (it can also be set for individual conferences). Last year, Kentucky lead the country with 40.9%. In 2022-23, Colgate lead the country with 40.3%. South Dakota State had a great shooting team in 2021-22 with 44.5% (they beat Bradley 81-65). Most seasons it has been around 40-43%.

No surprise that the top 3-point shooting teams in the Valley find themselves near the top of the standings!

            update-
Bradley has widened their lead at #1 in 3-point shooting-
Bradley at 41.14% is almost a full percentage point ahead of #2 Villanova 40.32%
Only two other teams, Houston & N. Dakota State are above 40% and five MVC teams are in the Top 50, 3 in the Top 13.
Bradley is also in the Top 10 of Effective FG% and among the nation's leaders (top 30-40 or so) in FG%, FT%, FG% Defense, 3-ptFG% Defense, Scoring offense, Three Pointers per game, and winning percentage.

              Update again - NCAA D1 3-point percentage - https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketbal...rrent/team/152
Bradley still has a significant lead among DI teams in 3pt FG%,
and only two teams remain above 40% as opponents’ defenses more & more target the 3 point shooters

Methinks we should be shooting more 3's maybe?

I like the amt we take per game, and we get good looks, except for Duke who creates his own shot.
The 41% clip is largely due to good shot selection and good balance of 2s and 3s.

Yes, Duke has a shooter's mentality, and knows when he's got the hot hand. When he gets hot, you can tell he wants the next shot. He's nailed a few crazy-long threes in recent games. There is not another player in the league I would rather watch play this year.

With Saturday’s 13-29 shooting performance from the arc, Bradley’s season 3-pt pct rises to 39.93%, back into 1st place in DI.
Villanova, currently at 39.80%, and Houston, currently at 39.61% can still take over the lead if we have a bad game- but we saw Saturday how valuable good 3-point shooting is!

Well we gotta shoot 40% or higher on Tues. to keep that spot as the leaders!

Imagine if BU ends up with 30 wins and the #1 3-pt shooting team in the nation! Pretty sweet stuff!

                          Current NCAA stats
Bradley back at #1 but all three of the top teams are still playing.
But I want wins more than stats!!!

The national 3-point FG% shooting stats are really close. There are 4 teams within 0.1% of each other, and 5 teams within 0.2% of each other - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...alPct/dir/desc

Of the top 10 teams, only Bradley and Houston are still playing
