Originally posted by yoda View Postvery tough news for the two time MVC Player of the Year Tucker DeVries. It was revealed that he has played much

to West Virginia, he underwent surgery. They never fully revealed the nature of the shoulder issue on the arm he uses
for shooting, but it sounds like possibly a shoulder labrum tear.
He rehabbed over the summer and was pronounced cleared for this season.... but after their first 8 games,
he's averaging 15 ppg and hitting almost 50% of his 3-pointers - suddenly they announced he is
"out indefinitely with an upper body injury" .. rumored to be a recurrence of the same shoulder problem.
Possibly they are considering keeping him out to preserve a potential medical redshirt since he's still played
few enough games to qualify. Multiple sources see him as a likely 1st round pick in the NBA Draft....

speaking of shouder injuries, another former Drake player & BU favorite...Conor Enright now at DePaul, dislocated his
right shoulder in a huge blowout loss to Villanova (100-56), way back on January 4. Surprisingly, he popped it back into joint,
was cleared mecicallly right away, and came right back to play 37 minutes in their very next game a couple nites later.
He then played ~30 and even up to 39 minutes in each of their next seven games, altho he clearly was not 100%
as he only averaged a bit over 6 ppg in that 9-game stretch. But now his coach has
announced he is done for the season as his shoulder now needs surgery, likely indicating a serious labrum tear.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
