I'm hearing that Bradley played a secret scrimmage this afternoon in Indianapolis against Eastern Kentucky- Final score was Bradley 78 - Eastern Kentucky 73

    Darius Hannah did not play.

Dave Eminian is reporting that Bradley "won handily"
but there's a blogger saying the score, 78-73, was verified

Eastern Kentucky is a solid opponent for the preseason scrimmage. They won the ASUN Conference regular season last year with a 12-4 conference record. They finished 17-14 overall - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...ngs/_/group/46

They were picked 2nd in the Preseason ASUN media poll and a close 4th in the Preseason Coaches Poll - https://asunsports.org/news/2024/10/...-all-asun.aspx

They lost several key players from last year's team, but one returning starter, Devontae Blanton, a 6'6" senior wing, was a unanimous pick for Preseason ASUN All-Conference team.

Winning is the most important part. Darius not being able to play now should help in getting Thomas and Jonovic more playing minutes. Did Connor Dillon play?

Haven't seen or heard any individual stats.
Dave Eminian posted an article tonight, but the only info he was able to get from Coach Wardle were these comments-
"We got to work on a lot of different things, different offensive plays, zone defense and pressing," he said. "We set aside 10 minutes for zone defense work only.
"That's what I love about closed scrimmages, you get to look at your team. We got some things to work on."
Wardle said he played starting point guard Duke Deen about 20 minutes, and took long looks at most of his depth players as well.
"Eastern Kentucky plays a helter-skelter, man-to-man defense," Wardle said. "That was good for us to face."

I think that is a good sign. Darious did not play and Wardle limited play on his starters. He wanted to get his depth guys playing time to see how they looked in game situations. And yet we still won against a quality opponent
