Sorry, I don't have any other news. But now that the coaches have nailed down their top priorities (SG and PG) in the 2025 recruiting class, I think there is a good chance we could see another commitment by the time the early NLI signing dates starts (Nov. 8-15)

Clearly BW's success with smaller lead guards definitely helps him get guys like this.

Here are a few more links of interest about new Bradley commit Montana Wheeler...
LongTimeFan sent me this twitter post from last spring - https://x.com/HCHSAthletics/status/1644433954236166146

And here is an article from the Houston Chronicle, the largest newspaper in Houston - https://www.houstonchronicle.com/tex...t-19373445.php
It might be a subscription article, but here is a summary- they named Chris McDermott of Booker T. Washington HS as the Greater Houston Player of the Year. McDermott was a 4-star 6'8" power forward who was a highly recruited senior and who is now at Texas A&M.
They also listed their picks for the All-Greater Houston area all-star teams in both public and private school categories.

In the private schools, the writer listed Montana Wheeler on the All-Greater Houston 1st team-
            First team
G — Montana Wheeler, Jr., Houston Christian
            22 ppg, 8 apg, 2 spg, 40 3FG%

G — Nathan Law, Sr., St. Thomas’ Episcopal (UTRGV)
            21 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 4 apg, 2.2 spg, 55 FG%
F — Jakeel Registe, Sr., Episcopal
            17.1 ppg, 11.4 rpg, 3.1 apg, 2.7 spg
F — Nigel Walls, Jr., St. Francis
            13.6 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 2.3 bpg, 2 apg, 52 FG%
            F — Sebastian Williams-Adams, Jr., St. John’s
            21.1 ppg, 10 rpg, 4.4 apg, 1.6 spg, 1.5 bpg, 51 FG%

Those are impressive stats for Wheeler in his junior year, especially the 40% three point FG%. Incidentally, his 22 ppg scoring average was higher than any of the 15 players who were named on the public school All-Greater Houston 1st, 2nd, and 3rd All-Star teams, and higher than all but one of the players named to the private school All-Greater Houston teams (one player was slightly higher with an averag of 22.9 ppg).

Article from when Montana Wheeler was a freshman at Houston Christian HS and recorded the "First-Ever Quadruple-Double" - https://www.vype.com/Texas/Tx-Privat...adruple-double

Another article from the Houston Chronicle in 2023 - https://www.houstonchronicle.com/tex...p-17763267.php
            Here are a couple clips-
Houston Christian sophomore point guard Montana Wheeler, younger brother of Kentucky’s Sahvir Wheeler, is no stranger to the big stage.
As a youngster, Montana saw firsthand how his brother led the Mustangs to their first of two straight championships. As a freshman, Montana recorded the school’s first quadruple-double and started making a name for himself.
Houston Christian, the No. 2 team in the latest Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ private school boys rankings, improved to 28-4 overall, 7-0 in the district play. The Mustangs were crowned 2022-23 SPC South Zone Champions and moved closer to their ultimate goal as Wheeler scored 22 points, and Carter Seeliger added 18 points, to lead state-ranked Houston Christian past host Episcopal with a 68-60 victory in the regular-season finale on Friday night.
Wheeler, who already holds seven offers from the likes of Texas A&M, Kansas State, LSU and St. John’s, scored 18 points in the first half and added four more in the second half. He was coming off a 34-point performance against Kinkaid and is averaging 26.4 points per game over the past five contests.

And I don't think these videos have been posted yet...
Video of Montana Wheeler playing in a summer league game while wearing a microphone - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fY6-JSAFFw

Video of Montana Wheeler by a high school basketball blogger, who calls him the "Best TRUE POINT GUARD in the nation?!" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFtofHD7iJk
That same blogger, on his Instagram account, claimed Montana Wheeler should be a 5-star recruit.

Another video of him playing with his Houston Christian team last year, but in a graphic at the 26 second mark, they list Montana Wheeler as 5'11", which might be a little exaggerated. Throughout the video, he is the shortest player on the court. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAct7KGynh4

And if anyone has time, here are many more highlight videos of Wheeler - https://www.maxpreps.com/tx/houston/...=2thh3uumqobee

New video of Montana Wheeler. It looks like an open gym scrimmage with his new high school team, Xavier Academy - https://x.com/billionairevsn/status/1838042467817390318

I like his quickness and ability to get to the basket and shoot with both hands.

One other recruiting factor.... with Duke Deen, Darius Hannah, Zek Montgomery, Christian Davis, Connor Dillon, Goanar Biliew, and Connor Linke in their final year at Bradley, that could mean a lot of NIL money will become available for 2025 recruits and transfers. It's possible that played a part in the early commitments of Matthew Zobrist and Montana Wheeler. Let's hope it benefits Bradley's further recruiting.

If so, it will be interesting to see what other recruits might be attracted to Bradley. We still need several more.
