Since the last report the women have played once and the men have played twice. The women continued their strong start of the fall season as they finished tied for 3rd out of 13 teams at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Missouri on September 23-24. They only got to play 36 holes because of the weather but that didn't stop the Lady Braves from posting good scores. For the 3rd straight tournament Caroline McConnell finished in the top 20 as she had rounds of 69, (a personnel best) and 79 to finish in a tie for 15th. Peyton Coburn (74-76) and Allison Pacocha (76-74) tied for 18th and Maria Perakis shot rounds of 76-75 to tie for 25th. They will be hosting the Coyote Creek Classic on Monday and Tuesday so any support I'm sure would be greatly appreciated.
The men's team played in the Kansas State Invitational in Manhattan, Kansa on September 16/17 and finished 9th out of 15. Pekin's Carter Stevenson tied for 13th shooting rounds of 76-70-72 for a 3 round total of +4. Connor Hamm tied for 17th shooting rounds of 71-76-72 for a 3 round total of +5. Their next tournament was on September 23-24 at the Zach Johnson Invitational in Des Moines and Conner won his 2nd tournament of the season, shooting rounds of 67-64-69 for a 3 holes total of -13 200, winning by 7 strokes. Conner's 2nd round 64 and 3 round score of 200 matched the school records he established earlier this season and the last time a Braves won 2 tournaments in a season was done by current assistant coach and Illini Golf employee Ethan Brue who did it in the 2017-18 season. The team tied for 2nd out of 14 teams shooting a +11 863. Carter had a 3 round total of 76-69-73 to tie for 23rd at 218. Their last tournament of the fall season is on the 14-15 at the Pinetree Intercollegiate in Kennesaw, Georgia

Individually 3 players tied at +8, Evansville's Mallory Russel and Bradley's Jillian Coster and Peyton Coburn, so the individual championship went to a playoff. with Coster beating Coburn on the 3rd playoff hole to win her first individual championship. Allison Pacocha finjished tied for 4th at +9, just 1 shot out of the playoff. Maria Perakis tied for 8th at +13.
