Dave Humerickhouse - Once a Brave, Always a Brave

Only a few of the really old timers will recall this guy.
Dave came out of the war years from Paris, IL and starred at Bradley from 1946-1950.
He was a two time All American, and scored 798 career points, still good enough for "Top 60" even now.
He was selected to BU's Team of the Decade (the 1940's) and while in high school, led his team to state four years in a row.

David Humerickhouse died Friday, Sept. 14 in Bartonville. He was 83.

Sorry to hear about this. The Journal Star still has the Bradley all decade teams on their site. There is a nice write up that mentions Humerickhouse in the 1941-1950 era.
