Metamora beat a good East Peoria team Saturday night 52-48. They have won 15 of their last 16 games.
Matthew Zobrist with a game-high 24 points. Metamora improves to 16-3 and 6-0 in the Mid-Illini Conference.

Metamora's next game is Tuesday (Jan. 14) against Leshawn Stowers and Peoria High School.

Metamora remains in 1st place in the Mid-Illini Conference with an 8-0 record, 19-4 overall.
They play a non-conference game tomorrow against 18-3 Evanston HS. Evanston is ranked # 20 in this week's AP state poll.
