  • It's GOTTA be the Shoes!

I have had this on my mind since the end of last season and thought it would be a good time to take action.

I have a cool new look for the shoes for the road/home games next season that involves blue laces that match the script jersey trim, and of course, red or black/red depending on when (and IF) the team would want to wear them.

This may be a long shot, but I don't want to pass up on the chance in what could be a very memorable season for our BRAVES! I know the guys will look good on the court with their game, but why not FANTASTIC with their style???

Do any of you know who I could contact in marketing or team apparel to run my ideas past? DaCoach had some suggestions, but I have not heard from any of them yet, though I hope to hear from former media coordinator Bobby Parker soon.

Thanks very much in advance, and GO BU!!!

I don't want to rain on your parade but I think BU, and 99.9% of all D1 basketball teams, have shoe contracts with different companies. I believe BU's contract is with Under Armor. So..., you may have to pitch your idea to Under Armor before BU will ever see it. If anyone knows differently please feel free to correct me but I think this is how it works.

You are correct Old timer -- Bradley Announces Partnership with Under Armour - Bradley University Athletics (bradleybraves.com)

      Also:
During the summer of 2018, he (Dr. Reynolds) announced a new partnership with Under Armour as the Baltimore-based company became the official outfitter of Bradley Athletics, tripling the combined value of the department’s previous shoe and apparel contract with Adidas. As part of the multi-year agreement, Under Armour provides shoe, apparel and training gear for all 15 varsity sports.
