Malevy missed a couple games, but is back starting now for the Oklahoma City Blue of the G-League. He had a good game last night - 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Unfortunately, the Blue lost to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 124-128 to drop to 7-2 on the season.

Malevy had a great game today in an event called the G-League Winter Showcase in Orlando, Florida.
He had 17 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks, but the OKC Blue lost to Grand Rapids 124-110. - https://x.com/OneMotiveSports/status...19615469474125
The annual G-League Winter Showcase is the NBA G League’s annual in-season scouting event, when all teams converge in one city to play in front of NBA general managers and player personnel executives from all 30 NBA teams. The 2024 event – Dec. 19-22 in Orlando, Florida – will mark the 20th Showcase, featuring 31 games over four days spread across two courts. This is the second season that the G League will host the event in Orlando.... Previous Winter Showcases had been held in Las Vegas, Nevada. - https://gleague.nba.com/showcase-faq
Good luck Malevy!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Malevy's previous NBA contract ended when he was waived by the Thunder a couple weeks ago, and he was under a G-League contract with the OKC Blue. With a standard G-League contract, I believe any team can sign him to their NBA team.
So if he is back with the Thunder, maybe it's because he put up the big numbers in that G-League Showcase with all the other NBA people there, and the Thunder management were worried they could lose him to another NBA team?
