This video has some nice shots of the new scoreboard and ribbon boards throughout the arena. Love the clean look of the ribbon boards over the stationary sponsor signs. New scoreboard is going to be awesome as well.

I am somewhat surprised that these upgrades have not coincided with a naming rights sponsor, but maybe that is forthcoming after the projects are complete.

Anyone else find it odd that this report came from a tv station in Decatur? Nice to know our local stations are on top of things.

They got it from WEEK Channel 25 news website in Peoria who actually did the story - https://www.25newsnow.com/2024/07/12...ar-renovation/

First look that I've seen of the new video scoreboard - https://x.com/Peoria_Rivermen/status...00499388514735

For some reason, the new ice plant, which was said to be urgently needed, still has not been installed, and will not get done at least until after the Rivermen season.

WMBD has an article about the new scoreboard and the other $45 million in Civic Center Arena renovations, which includes a couple new food concession stands (BBQ and Mexican foods) - https://wmbdradio.com/2024/09/18/peo...s-renovations/

The photo itself doesn't do much, but in person and with Bradley fans rockin the joint, I'm sure it will look/feel amazing!
