Should be a walk-on or preferred walk-on. But I'm only making assumptions here.

Everything I’ve heard is preferred walk-on

        his MidPro Academy coach confirms

I know the family thru both personal and professional connections, and they are great people,
and Gus will definitely help any team's combined GPA as he's a straight A student.

Gus has a brother 1 year younger, maybe he's interested in being a Brave, too

Interesting pickup. Seems to be a good fit for culture and a good student (exactly what you want in a walk-on). I don’t pretend to know anything about new recruits other than what I read, so I wait until I see them play to form better opinions.

However, in the few clips I saw he seems to be quite the shooter and plays hard. I don’t know if you can ever expect a walk-on to turn out to be a big contributor, but maybe he can be the next Danny Adams with that stroke and work ethic by his upper classmen years?

A solid defensive guard who can shoot it would have been my preferred last scholarship choice, so at least we have it as a preferred walk-on.
