  • Bally Sports no longer available in Peoria

As of today (May 1, 2024) Bally Sports Networks are no longer available on Xfinity cable systems. Bally Sports is the broadcast provider for multiple Major League Baseball teams (including Cardinals) and NBA teams, as well as carrying a lot of college sports.
This includes Bally Sports Midwest, which is based in St. Louis and is one of the cable networks that carries Missouri Valley Conference TV Network basketball games. If you tune to the Bally Sports channels, you will see the screen below.
Hopefully, this can still get resolved so that it doesn't diminish the broadcast exposure of the MVC games. Maybe it's time for the MVC to try to reach a better TV deal elsewhere. - https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=a69b8a5a4d8be7ee&sca_upv=1&q=bally+ sports&tbm=nws&source=lnms&prmd=nivsmbtz&sa=X&ved= 2ahUKEwiOr-CV2OyFAxVmADQIHYUaDP4Q0pQJegQICBAB&biw=1280&bih=55 1&dpr=1.5

There's no interruption of service at all for those whose provider is I3 Broadband. In fact, I am currently
watching the replay of last night's Cardinals/Tigers game via BSMW on I3 Broadband.
I3 Broadband is an underground fiberoptic system that gives customers outstanding quality of service,
and altho I can't find their current numbers, as of 2019, they boasted over 40,000 customers in Peoria & Central Illinois
