It seemed to me before Adams left that if BW were to move on in the future, Adams would be a candidate to replace him from an AssocHC position internally. That would especially be true with Foster gone, although Bargen might have a say in that as well. At any rate, if Adams wants a shot at the BU job or any other MVC job in the future, 2d or 3d assistant from a B12 also-ran is not the platform from which to achieve that.

Was the original post edited? I could have sworn it said that he did actually accept a position as if it was already official? I told a bunch of friends about this after I saw it and now I'm trying to remember if I imagined it or not. The fact that a few posters congratulated him right after and wished him luck makes me think I'm not crazy.

It was edited. A second source reports that apparently no final decision has been made yet. Hopefully, the decision will be made public soon.

Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard hired Lance Randall as an assistant coach - https://uwbadgers.com/news/2024/5/15...asketball.aspx

Randall has been the head coach at St. Leo University, a D2 school in Florida, and prior to that was head coach at D2 Lindenwood University and D3 Webster University.

Jimmie Foster was a finalist for an assistant position.
