  • Ranking of portal players

Two different sites have ranked the best players in the portal.

The Atlantic ranks the Top 109 players in the portal, and some of them are pretty silly. - LINK
They do have Tucker DeVries at #1, Avila at #3, and Belmont's Cade Tyson & Ja'Kobi Gillespie at #9 &#14,
but I have a hard time believing that AJ Storr is at #12, Iowa's Tony Perkins is #42, Belmont's Malik Dia and & Illini's Dain Dainja
    are so low.
Heck, they have Connor Hickman in the 60's & Humrichous in the 70's

then CBS has their ranking- Top 60- LINK
These guys are a bit more believable - but they have Indiana State's Ryan Conwell in the 20's, but Osobor & Dia way down in the 40's.

Sorry, that Atlantic article allows you only one view then hits a paywall. Bronny James despite the hype, was in the 50-60’s
CBS doesn’t rank him at all

If he didn't have a famous NBA star dad, he would be kind of a nobody in the basketball world. He is athletic but his shooting percentages are bad, and only averaged 4.8 ppg on a bad USC team. He might be able to improve but I don't see much demand for him (other than the hype/storyline he would bring).
