I would expect him to be a starter at this point in time. These D-2 players get recruited because they have proven themselves over time to be able to move up without skipping a beat just like the Valley players have in moving up to the Big Ten.

I think as it stands we have guys who have great potential who have to prove themselves, or make the next step.
        Burch, Dillon, Davis, Atlason, Zek

None of the above I could confidently call a starter, but all are close IMO, and I thought Zek was worthy of starting last season had he not transferred. I'm excited about Burch this season - I think he will be on most improved MVC team. He and Zek are versatile and can score in many ways and are extremely athletic.

Everyone needs to make improvements in their game and we'll be a fantastic team. The talent is absolutely there next season even if we don't add anyone else (but we better!), and DB Jr will be a great asset to foster their growth.

Dillon looks a tad slow for Valley play - that could be his biggest challenge and maybe why he was in D-2.

That is what I was referring to about needing time to adjust. The biggest difference between D1 and D2 is the speed of play. I think Connor D. will be a good spot-up shooter, and hopefully could be similar in some ways to what Ville or Nate Kennell were for past Bradley teams. But at D1, he's going to be guarded by bigger, longer, quicker opposing guards. Coach Wardle believes he can make the adjustments.

Nice DC - I think he will end up being a great pick-up!

Wow! We can only hope he lives up to those comparisons!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
