  • THANKS MALEVY

Thanks Malevy for all you did for Brave Nation! You were a joy to watch and nobody in the history of the Valley brought the D the way you did. Your loyalty and love for BU can only by matched by our love and admiration for you. In this day and age of me first and going for the money, you always put team first and didn’t seem to consider anything else.
We will miss you and hope that there is a spot for you somewhere at BU in the future. Always a Brave, my friend! This will always be your home!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Mal is a champion, plain and simple. He's the kind of player I love to watch. Generally not the highest scorer but plays tenacious defense and gives 100% every single game. You'll be missed Mal, thank you for being the epitome of Bradley Basketball. Best of luck wherever the game takes you. ️

I was really happy for him to be first team all conference and to win the defensive player of the year a second time. Staying your last season at Bradley ended up being a great move for the BU fans and for you because your accomplishments plus being a great person will forever be remembered.Good luck moving forward in your career.

Thank you Malevy for making the BU Braves your school of choice. We know you had choices but you stayed and you are appreciated for that. Loved watching you play defense and blocked shots. That got the crowd going. Loved your "Kaboom" dunks also.
              Good luck in the future

Malevy is a huge part of the reason Bradley has been successful the past three years.

In 3 seasons, 65 wins, great home court success, a league Championship, two post- season bids, and double digit CONFERENCE WINS all three seasons- something not done since the Molinari era, and had only been done 5 times ever.
                Thank you Malevy -

I’d put Mal up there with Hersey. And keep in mind he accomplished what he did in 3 years.

The expectations coming in for a player of the year in JUCO were huge, and he mostly lived up to them. He was never really a go to scorer (though not that far from it by the end), but one of the best overall games a big man has had at Bradley, and one of the best defenders in program history. More importantly, he seemed like an awesome human being and I loved rooting for him as such. Good luck to Mal in the future, I’m sure he’s going to be great! Maybe someday we will be wearing his clothes, as he majored in apparel production and merchandising. JC will always be a favorite of mine, but Mal represented the number 14 for Bradley really well!
