We played bad, could not make shots. Hannah, Atlason, Deen, Linke, and Burch struggled on offense. It is not like CINCY scored that many points, the fact is most of our players could not make shots.Thomas who has hardly played and not for awhile looked good. I said before I thought Thomas had potential to be a good player and for someone that hardly plays he looked good today.

- He felt it was a really poor game and a very disappointing way to end what was a good season.
- All the prep was good but some players seemed disinterested (you can read between the lines there)
- Basically he believes everyone on the team pretty much knows if they are going to stay or go for next year already and he expects them to inform the team in the coming days. (So we should know pretty quick I'd bet who will and won't be here)
- He was talking about starting the off-season tomorrow because there is so much movement. He definitely did not sound like someone who had one foot out the door for the next job. (But obviously that could change)Go Braves!

A lot to be proud of this season, and congratulations to players and staff on another successful year. 23 wins in a tough schedule, won an in-season tournament, placed top 3 in conference, beat some very high quality teams in the non-con (including on the road), swept ISU and SIU, and finished in the NIT. The road comeback against SIU and beating Loyola and Utah State were my top memories…. All this after losing dearly to the portal last year and not gaining back much due to defections.
I truly appreciate the loyalty of players that stay and finish the job like Malevy Leons. I also appreciate the deep bench players that show up every day and help the team improve. I hope our current roster can see the power and potential of a stable and cohesive roster and how that can translate to a Valley tournament championship and even bigger things.Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.
