Virginia seems to be doing everything they can to show the committee screwed up not putting the Sycs in.

So you think Indiana State (NET 28 ) might have represented better than the 25-point loss by Virginia (NET 54)? Well done, committee!

Final score- Washington State 66 Drake 61
              Box score - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId/401638596

Drake held a small lead most of the 2nd half, but then Darnell Brodie fouled out with 2½ minutes left, and Washington State was able to pull ahead. and win. The calls seemed to go mostly in favor of WSU (21 PF on Drake to 13 on WSU) and Tucker DeVries didn't shoot well (6-18 and 1-4 from three). And Drake was only 6-14 on free throws, which hurt them.

Yes, their free throw shooting was a mystery given how good it has been all year. At the end Tucker did not seem to want the ball- in that situation I expect him to want the ball and get the ball.

I didn't want Drake to lose. They represented the MVC

Drake has been a major disappointment in the tournament these last 2 years imo, with leads late in their games and giving it up in the end, uncharacteristic play (fouling too much, not hitting FTs etc). Makes me a little angry for the MVC but I'm also kind of laughing?

I dont think Tucker did himself proud. He was only able to score 14 points.. You think he would have done better than that

It appeared to me that something was wrong with Tucker the last 8 minutes or more of the game. I do not know if he was sick or injured but something seemed wrong as his dad kept taken him out on defense and putting him in on offense. He also was not moving much which makes it appear to me he was dealing with some kind of injury. He also was not involved much in the offense the last several minutes of the game.

Never say never. I heard he's appealing for another one.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
