Wondering how the team and staff are preparing for a possible NIT game. Are they practicing as usual to try and stay sharp. Everybody is in limbo not knowing what comes next. Hope they do get a NIT bid. Leons I am sure would want to play at least one more game. Imagine he does not want his last game be on the losing side.

Previous post states Bradley is almost certain to get a NIT invitation. Hope that is the case. Waiting can be the hardest part in all this as to find out who, where, and when they will play. If it is within reasonable driving distance, I will go and cheer on the Braves.

Indiana was beaten last night by Nebraska, and their longshot hopes of making the NCAA Tournament vanished. But they might have been candidates for an NIT bid, except last night, the Indiana Athletic Department issued a statement that if invited, they would decline a bid to the NIT. - https://www.idsnews.com/article/2024...ka-cornhuskers

I'm waiting tonight to see where Bradley will play its NIT first round game! They were a virtual "lock" in most projections I've recently read with a 99 9% or 100% chance! I think these projections are realistic! I've decided if Bradley plays Cincinnati, I will drive down their because these 2 teams have a great history playing each other and I consider both teams high mid-majors!!!!! I won't drive any further then northern Ohio. Even though Iowa is closer, it doesn't turn me on to go see that game! I think I'm only in for a Cincinnati game. But who knows, maybe I'll be surprised with a close drive vs.another high mid-major?

Thanks for clearing that up Coach! Yes Cincinnati excites me as they were also members of the Valley a long time ago! It's funny but I want Bradley to face another high mid-major over say Iowa of the big ten....don't know why except Bradley's history with Cincinnati! I think Iowa fans will look down at Bradley as there is an Article from Iowa Gazette stating that Iowa will play an also ran team like Bradley or Butler. The article is I touch the NIT...Love the NIT! I don't want to attend a game where Bradley is disrespected!!!! I know Cincinnati will respect Bradley because one of our old coaches went to Cincinnati!!! I think it's Drew Adam's? Anyway, that's the real reason I'd rather see Bradley play another mid-Major vs.power 5! It's called respect and I'm not driving anywhere unless the competition respects Bradley!!!!

One last thought: now I hear St.Johns won't participate in the NIT! This trend of now many teams not wanting to play in the NIT is Worrysome! I wanted St.Johns to play! They're good and have the most NITTitles of any other team! Bradley is 2nd most! But I'm also sort of happy that they were snubbed because Rick Pitino is not in my opinion a good human being!!! But back to my point, the NIT eventually will end if enough very good teams continue to opt out!!!! Very sad.

OK I see your side also about Respect! But as always it goes both ways! Sorry once again there are always 2 sides, but I'm sticking with my side that respect goes both ways! I'm only going to a road game respected! However, of course it would be great to be disrespected and beat Iowa!!!! Just like we beat Purdue in NIT 1982!!!!!

The Gazette Article Touch the NIT love the NIT...I'm wondering if the Article does not respect Bradley saying Iowa will ultimately play also rans Bradley or Butler? I'm not sure because the overall theme of the Article is that a team should play in the NIT even if it failed to make the NCAA! Anyone who reads this article, I'm putting it up for discussion!!!!
