Cincinnatti's Simas Lukosius made a 3 pointer with 2 seconds left to give the Bearcats the win. He was a sizzling 8-10 from 3, hopefully he shot his wad in this game. By the way the rest of the team was 3-20 from 3. The Bearcats have a lot of height as they have 4 guys about 7' 0", Lukosius is 6' 8" and 2 other starters at 6' 5" and 6' 6". They are about as physical as Loyola so we better bring it. They have 3 guys who average over 6 rebounds a game (the team averages almost 40). They also take care of the ball as they average just 12 turnovers a game. They shoot 44% overall, 32% from 3 and 69% from 1 and average 75 points a game. If we bring the effort that we brought to the Loyola game there's no reason to expect us not to win. Speaking of the Loyola game my goodness was that 1st half about as good of half of basketball that we've seen from this team this season. Passing was crisp, defense was on point, just a fantastic half of basketball. But you somehow just knew that the Ramblers would make in interesting and sure enough with 6:30 left they had cut it to 2Duke hit a huge 3 on the next possession that seemed to take to win out of Loyola's sail. Malevy had some spectacular moves and finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks and was a perfect 8-8 from the FT line. Looks we play Cincy at 2:00 on Saturday. Go Braves!

No Moser
No Krutwig
No problem
FYI - Barring any copyright issues, the game should be available to watch in an hour or so on Youtube (will have it up on Rumble this evening or tomorrow morning if you prefer that platform). If nothing else, look for the alley-oop to Hannah near the end of the game. Probably the longest alley-oop of the year. Man that guy can get up!Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

This is an excerpt from a post on the Loyola Ramblers forum. Thought it was really complimentary of our team, so thought I'd share it here:
But give Bradley some credit. They are a good team and did some things well.
1. They played 3 bigs almost the whole game and made us look small..and they were super long....7 blocks..
2. Early on they seemed to allow our guards the lane and then had two bigs waiting at the rim.
3. They spaced well on offense and ran the pick and roll from the wing which screwed with our regular help patterns.
4. They kept their composure as we made our run and they MADE their free throws.
5. Only 5 fast break points. they really got back on D....and only 9 points off turnovers...
6. They played good defense and made us earn everything...seldom gave us a clean look at the basket.Larry Bird

Anyone need a laugh today? This is the thinking of Loyola fans after Bradley beat them in the 1st round of the NIT - https://twitter.com/BleredV/status/1773423985360785824
Note that last year, they finished dead last (15th place) in the A-10, and this year they tied for the regular season title in a weak, one bid year. Then they got bumped from the A-10 tournament and ended up barely making the NIT as an unseeded team.
Now they think they are too good even for the Big East.
