No, the NIT organizers choose the dates and times, to get TV time. Usually the hosting team has to submit dates, and be agreed on by the visiting team. 1st round games start as early as the Tuesday after the pairings are announced. Bradley played at Wisconsin last year on Tuesday, March 14, 2 days after the NIT teams were announced.

It looks like the Riverman are playing on the road this week. That’s good news

This is Wardle's best chance to get a good post-season win, Loyola at home. If he wants to elevate his resume to a coach that can move up he will need a couple NIT wins IMO.

NIT opponents I would want to see us get (I know some will get an NCAA bid & some may decline an NIT bid, but I'm hoping,,):
                        -Loyola
                        -Nebraska
                        -Cincinnati (to get Drew Adams)
-Grand Canyon (to get Bryce Drew & Jamaal Walker)
-Oregon (word is that Dana's retiring)
                        - then either UNI or Indiana State (if they're shafted) in the Championship game in Las Vegas
LOL, I guess they heard me- altho it kinda looks like Loyola only got in the NIT because several other teams like St. John’s pouted and declined.
Turns out Loyola, Cincy , and Indiana State are all in our bracket- could get all three!
                        Go BU!
