For sure we need a guard or two, and a post or two, and a stretch four wouldn’t be bad either.
DEFINITELY need a couple big men who can produce on offense - whether one of them is Hannah returning, who could put up 13-15 ppg next season and continue his great defensive play.
Just a hunch that Meta will make strides in the offseason like Hannah did before his Junior season.
    Don't see Thomas returning.

I think we're basically set on guard play if Duke returns.
Duke, Hick, Burch, Davis, and the Italian newcomer and JaQuan...really strong at guard

Then you've got Atlason who is pretty much a guard and really held his own on defense in the post for not having much experience there before.

My real concern for next season is do we get both Hickman and Hannah back?

        Thinking the same thing.

Puzzled why Hannah doesn’t get more minutes this late in the season and in his career at BU. He just had one of his best games against SIU with 22pts and 23 min. Sunday, he had only had 3 fouls when he was pulled at 7:48 after a made jumper and did not return until 1:30 remaining in the game. Often, a bucket will motivate a player to “dig in” defensively in a close contest. IMO, we closed the gap but we don’t tie or win without Hannah! Our most complete player and hopefully 1st team all MVC is obviously Malevy, but with more PT, Darius would have similar stats.

I don’t think that guard group is championship level yet. Duke and Hick sure. I love Burch and Davis and have been supportive of them all year, but Burch has a ways to develop yet, and even if he does I still think we could use another guard who can hit the three and ideally start at the three spot. Burch would be best suited to be our main backup guard/6th man for a year before he takes another step to start as a junior. To me Davis is an old school small forward or a 3/stretch 4 type guy and Atalson is a stretch four to me, but he has a ways to improve yet as well. I’m huge fans of all three of those guys improving, but to go into next year no other guards but them and a couple of freshman (isn’t van der Knaap a forward?) behind Deen and Hick isn’t my ideal in a guard heavy league.

I would think coaches need to be recruiting all positions regardless now just in case, but it will be super interesting to see this offseason play out (though hopefully it doesn’t start for a few weeks).

Excited to finally Follow Arch Madness!!!! Bradley has a decent chance but of course they are not favored. It's a 1 game showdown each day and possible upsets could occur! Could UIC upset SIU? It's possible but UIC while staying close in many games can't seem to win close ones. But it's 1 Game! Southern can't be feeling to great after getting knocked out by Northern Iowa at home in their season final! I think it helps us that we don't have to encounter Northern Iowa or Belmont! I would, feel pretty confident against SIU or UIC! We would be underdog to Drake assuming they make semifinal! I think if we don't look ahead and get a 3rd shot at Drake on Neutral court with not all the calls going there way, it would be incredibly close game! I hope this match up occurs! And of course the winner has at least a realistic shot at taking down Indiana State!!!! I want to see Bradley win the tourney, but if the MVC gets 2 bids to March Madness that would be a nice way to end the Valley season! No matter what happens, I hope we are very competitive next year!

If the refs let us play, we will beat Drake, given the opportunity. We can't overlook our first game.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Agree because in the last game T.DeVries was hardly touched by anyone and ended up shooting 5 free throws at the start of the game.We do not get those type of fouls called in our games against Drake.
