Bradley clinches top 4 finish

Bradley has officially clinched a top 4 finish.
Belmont and UNI are both tied for 5th, 2 games behind Bradley, and either or both can still tie Bradley in the final standings.
However, Bradley wins every tiebreaker with either or both teams by virtue of:
In a 2-way tie with Belmont- Bradley beat Belmont in their only meeting, and having a much better NET than UNI.
In a 2-way tie with UNI- Bradley was 1-1 in head-to-head competition, but Bradley has a far better NET
In a 3-way tie with UNI & Belmont- In a "mini round-robin" with all 3 teams, Bradley has a record of 2-1, UNI is 2-2, and Belmont is 1-2.

3rd place will be clinched if we beat SIU on Wednesday or if we end up tied for 3rd by virtue of a better NET. We'll be 4th if we lose to SIU and Drake and they win against UNI.

I'd almost want the 4 seed because you get 6 more hours between games over the weekend as compared to the 3 seed. But I wouldn't want to face UNI on Friday. If SIU were the 5 seed that would be ideal. Still lots of moving parts.

Theoretically, there are 5 different teams that could end up at that 6 seed plus each of them could lose Thurs giving maybe 6 different possible Friday opponents. Of all of the possibilities, I’d take UIC then MSU if I had a preference of who I’d want our guys to face Fri.

Let's beat S.I.U.and secure the 3rd seed! I think you have to try and get the best seed you can! If we fall to a 4th seed, we can still live well with 1st round bye! However, a 4th seed could get us a much tougher opponent in First Round! Also by securing seed 3, we are almost guaranteed to play Drake in 3rd round assuming both teams get their! I think it would be advantageous for us to play Drake First because they won it last year and Mentally they may not be as geared up in the semifinal round. If we upset them, we have to figure we would play Indiana State. They have not been to a MVC championship in years so this lack of experience and pressure on them could take its toll! Of course it wont be easy for any team to get to the finals and win it!!!!!
