Should the Bradley students have stormed the court tonight? Of course not.
Well, the UNI students did storm their court after their win tonight. A bit embarrassing...

Evansville lead SIU by 2 at halftime 26-24, in another low-scoring game.
The game is staying close in the 2nd half - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId/401601916
MVC leading scorer Xavier Johnson had only 2 points in the 1st half.
Seems like I'm watching a replay of our game last night as both teams are slogging it out in the first half with Evansville leading SIU 26-24. SIU is 9-24 overall, 2-12 from 3 and 4-8 from 1. Evansville is 9-23 overall, 12-3 from3 and 7-8 from 1. Former Brave Antonio Thomas leads the Purple Aces with 8 points and Scottie Ebube leads the dogs with 8 points. Xavier Johnson, the leading scorer in the Valley, looks like a different player as he's really struggling with injuries with his ankle and knee. He has 4 points on 1-6 shooting, 0-3 from 3. In fact in his last 4 games he's shooting 14-53 overall, 4-23 from 3.
Interesting that Xavier Johnson has played all but 33 seconds of the game, so far (checked out at 7:49 and back in at 7:16 of 1st half), despite accumulating 3 fouls in the first half.
SIU just went on an 8-0 run to open the biggest lead either team has had at 43-35.
When Johnson picked up his 4th foul with 6:29 left and Evansville converted both FT's to close the gap to 50-48 I was curious to see just how aggressive Johnson would be on offense and if Evansville would attack him on defense. Defensively the Purple Aces didn't do anything to try and draw a 5th foul and on offense Johnson stayed aggressive and the Salukis outscored Evansville 15-5 the rest of the game. Johnson again struggled from the field as he was just 3-12 overall, 1-5 from 3, but he had 10 rebounds and 8 assists. How he does against us here and UNI at home this week could determine if he's the POY in the MO Valley.
